Tracking you fitness, diet and personal goals
We are now using Beyond the Whiteboard as a resource for our athletes to track their progress in CrossFit. You can request an invitation to join CrossFit Lake Highlands within the website or if you email us at info@CrossFitLakeHighlands.com and I will send you an invitation from within the program. In addition to being able to track results, it has instructional videos for each movement we are performing that day. It is awesome.
CFLH Exercise & Food Log
Here’s a spreadsheet that you can use to track your CrossFit progress. There’s a tab for your exercises, the food you eat, PR’s (personal records), and benchmark WOD reference: CFLH Exercise & Food Log.
Instructions for downloading a copy to your hard drive:
- After you click on the link above, on the left hand side, look for the File menu item below the Google Docs image, NOT the File menu item of your browser.
- Select File->Download as-> and there are a number of options. For example, if you have MS Excel choose Excel. This will save the spreadsheet on your hard drive.
Instructions, if you have a Google account, for creating a copy to your Google Docs:
- You’ll need to be logged into your Google account. You can do it now or see step 3.
- After you click on the link above, on the left hand side, look for the File menu item below the Google Docs image, NOT the File menu item of your browser.
- If you haven’t done so, now, sign in to your Google account by clicking the sign in link in the upper right hand corner of the spreadsheet page.
- Select File->Make a copy…
- Google will then create a copy of this in your Google Docs account.
Notes: I left some example entries in there just so you can get the feel of what needs to be there – you should remove the examples. Also, if you do this with a Google account you can then share the spreadsheet with Chris and me. Then, we can comment, answer questions, and check in with your progress.
Let us know if you have any questions.
